Dental Instrument Washer

HYDRIM L110W G4 Instrument Washer

Using an automated washer is the most effective way to maintain clean dental instruments. The HYDRIM L110W G4 provides a safe and effective way to fully wash every tool in our office. This machine uses high-powered, automated cycles to guarantee each instrument is cleaned thoroughly.

Before going through our rigorous sterilization, every instrument must be washed to remove any stuck-on particulates and bacteria. This machine uses high pressure and temperature to achieve this. By combining these features with specialized detergent, every tool can be fully prepared before moving on to our sterilizer.

The advantages of automated washing systems over traditional manual cleaning methods are recognized by the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and by independent research. This machine has enabled our office to design the perfect cleaning processes and guarantee they are upheld each time. Using its professional automation, our team members can focus on what matters most, our patients.

HEPA Air Purifiers

Whenever entering our dental office, you will notice the air is very clean and sterile. This is achieved through the use of our HEPA Air Purifiers. Each treatment room is equipped with one of these devices to ensure the environment is constantly cleaned to remove any harmful airborne particulates.

These machines utilize a four-step process to remove particles of varying sizes from the air. During the first stage, fragments large enough to be seen by the human eye such as hair or dust are quickly filtered out. Throughout the next two stages, the finer filters remove smaller particles such as pollen. Finally, microscopic particulates like chemicals or odours are removed using activated carbon and zeolite filters.

Our purifiers have a very efficient flow rate which allows our treatment rooms to be cleared in just 11 minutes. During your appointment, you can trust that everything in our office is perfectly cleaned, including the air you breathe.

SteriLog Scanning System

We take safety and cleanliness very seriously at Railway City Dental. The SteriLog allows us to digitally track the effective performance of our sterilization process. This system records everything done to clean each of our instruments, so we know you and your family are kept safe.

Every tool used at our office goes through rigorous sterilization prior to any use. At each step, we utilize the SteriLog to document what instruments were cleaned, how they were cleaned, and which team member performed the process. Along with this detailed cataloguing, the system also records whether or not each sterilization load has passed the necessary testing for harmful chemicals and bacteria.

The tracking of all this information can be very time consuming. Thankfully, with the SteriLog system, our team can easily document every sterilization step efficiently and without error. The time we save with this innovative system is used to further assist our patients in improving their oral health.

Biological Indicator For Dental Use

3M Attest Biological Indicator

One of the main reasons we have such an extensive sterilization process is to ensure there are no harmful particulates or residue on any instruments. We use the 3M Attest Biological Indicator to confirm this is upheld within each sterilization load. This necessary testing is always used to guarantee the safety of our patients.

The machine uses vials containing live spores that go through the sterilizer. At the end of each sterilization load, the vial is inserted into the reader, which confirms that all spores have been eliminated. Instruments are not used in our office until they have successfully passed this test.

This innovative system is simple to use and shows results in as little as three hours. The quick turnaround enables our team members to easily monitor the success of our sterilization process every day.

VALO LED Curing Light

Whenever applying a filling, crown, or dental bond we always ensure they are strong and can support the daily pressure used to chew your food. To properly harden white composite, dental adhesive, or dental bonds, we use our VALO LED Curing Light. This efficient technology can set materials quickly and effectively to guarantee they last for many years to come.

The VALO utilizes a custom multiwavelength LED to produce high-intensity light at 385-515 nanometers. This specially designed light is so strong that it can fully polymerize our various dental materials in just 20 seconds. Our team can also use this versatile device to determine if there are any cracks in your teeth. Its strong LED light enables our dentists to detect minor issues that are not easily seen during a regular oral exam.

With our VALO LED Curing Light, we can quickly provide a seamless solution to restore your damaged teeth. Our team enjoys using this device as it is convenient, simple, and extremely reliable when applying a dental filling. After we shine its blue light over your teeth, you can trust that your filling will remain strong and durable.

Intraoral Camera For Dental Operation

Intraoral Camera

We always keep our patients informed from the moment their appointment begins. One of our methods to fulfill this is through the use of our intraoral cameras. These cameras allow us to show patients what we see, to better inform them about their oral health.

Our dental professionals use this innovative device to scan various areas of your mouth and display them in crystal-clear quality on a large screen. With this expanded view, we can explain everything that is happening within your mouth to help you understand why specific treatments are recommended.

Pictures truly speak louder than words, which is why we love using our intraoral cameras. We are able to save these images to keep an accurate history of your dental records. Children also love seeing their smiles on camera!

X-Ray Imaging

The majority of each tooth within your mouth is concealed beneath your gums. To properly see this important area of your mouth, we use our x-ray imaging technology. This system is able to scan your teeth to create a digital image of your supporting roots, jaw, and facial bones.

Using this detailed view, we can easily inspect your teeth to monitor for any signs of issues beneath your gums. Early indications of severe problems like decay and other infections below the surface are not possible to see during a regular oral exam. X-ray imaging allows us to catch them early, so we can begin treatment before they worsen.

Our professionally trained team is skilled at performing x-ray imaging and always ensures the process is safe. We use modern digital radiographs to provide a crystal-clear image on the screen without the need for wasteful films, chemicals, or any physical discomfort to our patients.
